Execution starts with the question everyone thinks and no one asks.

Yoram Meijer helps leaders get their strategy actually executed. He has more than ten years’ experience in improvement, change and organisational transformation, and understands how organisations make decisions, how governance works and where the real dilemmas lie. As an Obeya Sensei, he uses the Obeya as an instrument for leaders: a wall with no interests of its own, showing where you really stand rather than where you hoped to be.

His starting point is that leaders rarely lack plans or commitment. Execution stalls where decisions stay vague, where it is unclear who decides what, and where the question everyone is thinking never reaches the table. Yoram coaches leaders and management teams to ask that question, make choices explicit and steer in a steady rhythm on what is really going on. The same holds now that AI is changing the work: AI only changes an organisation once its decision-making changes with it.

Outside work, Yoram chairs the chess club in Schagen, teaches chess to children and, of course, plays himself. From an early age, chess has shaped how he thinks and recognises patterns. Most important is home: with his wife and dog he loves to go camping and walking.

Yoram works directly and with people at the centre. He names discomfort without smoothing it over, and always lands on something a team can act on, never on blame.

Track Record

Yoram has worked on improvement, change and transformation in organisations for more than ten years. He is a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt and received the DASA DevOps Inspiring Transformation Leader Award in 2024.

He holds the title of Obeya Sensei. In 2026 he published De muur die niet liegt (Dutch), on why strategy only works once the real question becomes visible, and how an Obeya puts that question on the table and what role is required from leadership.

As a keynote speaker and conference chair, he speaks about steering, governance and decision-making in a time when everything is becoming IT and AI. He applies this himself: with Tijmen Kip he builds and runs his own team of AI agents at Five Forward Group, set up on the same principles as an Obeya: clear mandate, fixed escalation and human oversight.

Why Invisory

Invisory helps organisations bring out the best in their people and teams. Yoram adds the layer of leadership and steering: how leaders set direction, prioritise and sustain execution. Where Tijmen helps teams build a disciplined way of working, Yoram helps leaders sharpen direction and make decisions visible. Together with Tijmen he co-founded Five Forward Group, of which Invisory is part. He finds his satisfaction in the moment a leadership team asks the question it has long avoided, and then genuinely starts working differently.
